Every day, YouTube shows me the same 50 videos I've already fucking seen before. I go through and click "Not Interested" or "Don't Recommend Channel" on every video on my front page, YouTube still serves me the same 50 videos I've already seen. I wipe my watch and search history, Guess what? It's the same goddamn videos, over and over again. With the addition of some bullshit right-wing chud videos I will never watch. What makes you think I want to see this shit? I don't.
This website will take away accessibility features and actively fill the website up with AI shit nobody uses, but you know what they won't do? They won't fix how the recommendations feed works. They won't fix the search function. They refuse to actually fix fucking anything. They'd much rather sweep their mistakes under the rug and refuse to acknowledge it.
It's gotten to the point where I've begun to watch television again. At least with TV I get to see something new and possibly interesting intead of the same old shit that I've been seeing for the past year.
What a shitty website. I hope the day that YouTube dies comes soon.

Reading: "Bones of the Lost" by Kathy Reichs
I've been neglecting to read my book for a few days at a time. I won't let that happen again.
I'm on Chapter 18 as of writing. It's insane. The previous chapter ends with Dr. Brennan in Afghanistan surviving a plane crash. (Does anything like this happen in Bones?)
I haven't been keeping track of how much time I spend each day, but I make it a point to pick up a book when I'm not doing anything in particular instead of picking up my phone. I must've spent at least an hour~hour and 30 minutes reading yesterday.

Reading: "Bones of the Lost" by Kathy Reichs
I'm turning 21 in two days, so I got Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann and the entirety of Transformers Animated on DVD as an early birthday gift.
As for Bones of the Lost; I'm on the 4th chapter right now. I grew up watching Bones (a show I was way too young to be watching lol), but I never knew it was inspired by a book series, like, at all until two years ago.

Reading: "Chomp" by Carl Hiaasen
I've always loved how Carl Hiaasen decribes scenes in his books. I really do feel like I'm in a disgusting Florida town swarming with crazy people whenever I read his stuff. I should go track down his adult books.
