I do not like PawaPuro Adventures

PawaPuro Adventures (パワプロアドベンチャーズ), a new PawaPuro mobile game, was announced just recently.

The game, on the surface, seems interesting. It's basically PawaPuro's storied Success mode but with all the Baseball elements replaced with Fantasy RPG ones. You fight monsters, train up and level up your character through various activities and form bonds with your friends and allies.

A PawaPuro Fantasy RPG? That seems really cool!

But here's why I already dislike it though: It's yet another online-only gacha game.

Another game filled with grindy gameplay and predatory gacha mechanics up the ass. Any amount of excitement I had for this game immediately dissipated when I found this out.

And this game was revealed right after the announcement that Powerful Pro Yakyuu Eikan Nine Crossroads, another PawaPuro-themed gacha game released in September of 2023, was closing down this March, with no plans for an offline version.

Like, I just wish KONAMI would release a offline PawaPuro mobile game without gacha/microtransactions for once. I'll gladly drop any amount of money on that.
