"I feel like I was destined to be a Pactmaker."

Dignitas (real name Kevin Keene) is a member of the Whitewoods High Order.

He acts as Betula's right-hand man and is one of the oldest living Pactmakers, having made his first pact with a Spiritus in 1989 when he was 16 years old. He is also the father of Maria Keene.

Before the age of the Internet, Spiritus would travel through radio waves, causing "anomalies" to occur on TV and Radio broadcasts as they moved. Domains were few and far between, and the ones that did exist were huge. Sprawling worlds lived in by thousands, if not millions of Spiritus at a time.

Dignitas, previously known as Kevin Keene had his first encounter with a Spiritus when he was just 16. He can't recall how exactly it happened, but one moment he was playing a video game late at night, and the next moment, he was in a unfamiliar world crawling with doll-faced creatures and talking animals. It was here where he came face to face with a Spiritus named Launa, a Witch/Machine-race Spiritus with a threat level of Peta. Launa took great interest in Kevin and immediately tasked him with protecting her Domain and the Spiritus inside it from The Brain, a Parasite/Machine-race Spiritus with a threat level of Exa.

After 11 hours of rigorous combat, nearly losing his life multiple times, Kevin was finally able to defeat The Brain and was allowed to go back to his normal life.

Using his newfound abilities, Kevin would silently protect people from any Spiritus that threatened them and made new Spiritus pacts in the process. During the rise of the Internet and organized pactmaking, he became one of the first people to gain the the title of Necromaster, a title held only by experienced Pactmakers.

He would leave the Pactmaking world behind to focus on his newly started family in 2004. Kevin's wife left him in 2014, leaving him to raise Maria all by himself. He became a member of the Whitewoods High Order shortly after Whitewoods, which was once a public-facing hacktivist group, publicly "broke up" in 2016 and was given the codename "Dignitas". Maria does not know that her father is a Pactmaker and vice versa. Dignitas intends to take his second life with him to the grave.

Dignitas is noted as having a rapturous enjoyment of classic Nintendo games and often makes dated one-liners when dispatching enemies. His peers chide him for this.

He goes out of his way to protect the weak and the helpless, often risking his life doing so. He is also very skilled with firearms.
