Bio

Kate Novo was born on Valentine's Day 1982 in the heart of New York City to a husband and wife team working in the music industry. In 1990, her family relocated to Buffalo.

Growing up, Kate was described as headstrong and a bit rebellious. She was always getting into trouble for standing up against bullies and mean teachers.

In middle school, Kate started a relationship with Ken Bourreau that lasted for 8 years. After their relationship fell apart, Kate pursued a career in journalism. She traveled all over the world and risked her freedom and life in the name of broadcasting the truth.

Her journalism career would come to an abrupt end in August of 2025, after she released a scathing article outlining the potential risks of Amico's newly-released AI everything-app, Amico Amy. Kate was kidnapped by Amico employees and was brought to Amico's "Innovation Center", where she was killed during an attempt to digitize human consciousnesses for use in Amico's AI products. Her body was disposed of off the coast of California and her death was publicly covered up as a car accident.

Driven to kill everyone responsible for her suffering and burn Amico down, Kate came back to life as a Revenant, a reanimated human that can transform into an extra powerful Spiritus.

Fufilling a promise she made to Ken that they would meet again one day, Kate appeared before him in his apartment and formed a pact with him, officially making Ken a Pactmaker: one who weilds the power of Spiritus.

Description

As a Spiritus, Kate is an Angel/Demon Spiritus with an unknown threat level. In Weapon Form, she transforms into a ornate-looking broadsword.
